Aisling Bea

Aisling is an Irish-born comedian who has been around for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. She has been on QI together alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea is an Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea began her stand-up show in the year 2011, following appearances in bits in several Irish television shows and British series since 2009. In 2012, she was frequently performing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. When she was awarded an award from Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she began appearing on numerous panels, and is currently a regular. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is regularly a contestant on the spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sister called Sinead. The only ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. She uses the surnamed Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Claiodhnadh, born on March 16, 1984, in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian passed away at age three. He was a horse vet. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed to death until she was 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her father. She also wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea and her older sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. The family was obsessed with racing and horses. Bea started out her career as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that the race industry was not for her.
